Twenty-plus years installing pools in central Oklahoma taught us which manufacturer to stick with. Here's the short version.
When customers ask why every pool we install comes from the same company, the honest answer is: we tried. Twenty-plus years in, we've worked with the alternatives. Latham is the one we kept coming back to.
Every Latham shell is laid up in a factory under controlled conditions. That sounds dry until you realize what it means in practice: the gel coat that goes in your yard is identical to the one we showed you in the brochure. There's no on-site casting, no weather window, no curing schedule. The shell shows up on a truck, we drop it in the dirt, plumb it up, and you're swimming inside of a few weeks.
Latham backs the structural integrity of the shell for as long as you own the pool. Fiberglass already lasts decades — the warranty just makes it official. We've personally serviced pools we installed fifteen years ago that look about the same as the day they were sunk.
This is the part most people don't expect. There's no Latham 'standard pool' — they make Olympic-style lap shells, family freeforms, spa combos, plunge pools, and party-size entertaining shells. Whatever the constraint is in your yard (the slope, the easement, the kid you don't want to teach to swim in deep water yet), there's almost certainly a Latham model that solves it.
